Semi-Private Studio Pilates 1:4

Our studio pilates sessions are small group size with a maximum of 4 clients per 1 instructor. The focus of our studio pilates is to create a supportive, personalised and enjoyable environment for the client to develop their functional strength, mobility, coordination, postural control and balance.

Sessions involve the use of pilates equipment: reformer, wanda chair, ladder barrel, mat work and small props.

Small Group Reformer

With a maximum of 4 in a class, our small setting is aimed at providing you with individual attention and support.

Classes for all levels from basic (beginner), flow (intermediate), athletic (intermediate-advanced) and restorative (open level - focus mobility and stretch).

The reformer springs provides resistance which is required for adequate strength training. Intensity can be varied by increasing or reducing spring resistance to load up global muscles or use a lighter spring to challenge stabilising muscles. The reformer can also be used as a supportive foundation for someone with injuries or mobility challenges.

Reformer Pilates also helps to improve coordination, mobility, core strength and functional movement.

Mat Pilates 1:8

Our mat sessions offer both foundational and beginner classes, to intermediate and more advanced progressions classes. All classes are capped at a maximum of 8 students, allowing for personalised cueing and correcting from our instructors.

A full body workout, our mat sessions follow an enjoyable flow focusing on overall strength with particular attention to developing core strength and alignment as well as balance, stretch and release. Mat sessions incorporate the use of small props including; foam rollers, magic circles, resistance bands, fit balls and small weights.

Pilates Private/Personal Fitness 1:1

Personal training sessions with either a pilates focus or developing a strength and conditioning program depending on your goals. Complete tailored sessions ensuring you receive a well-rounded program to meet your health, functional movement and exercise needs.

Personal training sessions run by Exercise Scientist and qualified personal trainers.

Yoga 1:8

At Pilates, etc we also offer yoga classes in the style of Vinyasa flow for an invigorating mindful movement practice as well as restorative yoga for a more mental and physical relaxation at a slower pace. Both styles will incorporate the importance of breath in allowing for better movement and relaxation.

All our classes run by qualified pilates and yoga instructors.

Pre/Post Natal 1:8

Pilates, etc. offers pre/post natal classes for mums to improve the health and mobility of their bodies during pregnancy as well as the recovery and rebuilding of strength following the birth.

Our sessions are specifically tailored toward the pregnant woman, conducting safe and appropriate exercises for during pregnancy and after.
